Real estate videography has been one of the best tools used when it comes to promoting and marketing a home. Beautifully shot videos that leave the eyes popping and jaws dropped help boost the sales of homes drastically. Social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are viewed by millions of individuals on a daily basis, therefore having a very well done real estate video put on one of these platforms will draw plenty of attention to the home thus getting it to sell and/or be promoted in whatever manner you see fit.
Use as much natural light as possible
Sunlight is your greatest ally when it comes to shooting video, a naturally lit home will make any video look like it was shot in a production studio in Hollywood. Natural light coming in from the window will make any space look spacious and make a person envision what it would be like to live there.
Using the proper lens
When it comes to lenses used to shooting real estate the rule of thumb is to always go wide. The 16-35mm or the 14-24mm are the most commonly uses lenses when it comes to shooting property. Getting a wide shot of the property makes it so that every inch is seen by the viewer.
Always use a stabilizer
A stabilizer or gimbal is essential for creating a well shot video. The stabilizer will essentially keep the camera from shaking and make the video smooth and enjoyable for the viewer.
Focus on what stands out
A lot of the really high scale properties have something that stands out from the rest. Whether it be a lavish water fountain, a long wrap around driveway, an extravagant chandelier or an infinity pool. Make sure that these items are focused on and shot from many angles in order for them to be truly seen and appreciated. Slowing down the footage at this point might even be a good way of getting this object to stand out
